Wilson County Fair wins more awards January 31, 2012 From: The Lebanon Democrat The Wilson County Fair won the following awards at the Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention held recently in Nashville: Tennessee Awards of Merit; 1st Place in the following categories: Showbill (Promotional Advertisement), Power Point Presentation, Other Fair Promotional Merchandise, Fair Display (Tabletop), Pieced Quilt (Machine pieced and machine quilted), Pieced Quilt (Hand pieced and hand quilted), Poster (John Deere) and Premium Tabloid; 2nd Place for Recycled Product; and 3rd Place for Fair Hat (Embroidered theme), Creative Fair Idea (Agricultural), Decorative Gourd and Scrapbook.
